These Are Amazon’s Top 20 Children’s Books of 2019

With the holidays around the corner and 2019 coming to an end, several companies are putting out their “best of” lists from the past year - including Amazon. The retailer recently put out its list of the best children’s books published in 2019, with editors’ picks for the top 20 books for readers of all ages and the top 20 books in various age categories.

For the top 20 children’s books of the year, Julie Murphy’s Dear Sweet Pea (also the author of young adult novel Dumplin’, now a Netflix film) took the winning spot. It tells the story of Patricia “Sweet Pea” DiMarco, a child dealing with her parents’ divorce who embarks on an adventure that changes her world forever.

The top five books from the list can be found below, as well as the top five books from the Baby to Age 2 category and the Ages 3 to 5 category. Each of these is bound to steal your heart this upcoming holiday season as you and baby cuddle up to read.
